Determining factors affecting schoolchildren's attitudes towards injury: a cross-sectional study

Purpose: Accidents and injuries in childhood are a common public health problem worldwide. The preventable unintentional injury rates high, especially children who spend most of their time at school. purpose this study is to determine schoolchildren's attitudes towards factors affecting these attitudes. 
 Methods: This was cross-sectional that enrolled students from Turkish elementary schools. Data were collected using the sociodemographic characteristics data form Injury Attitudes Questionnaire for School Children (IAQ).
 Results: mean fate subscale scores whose mothers primary school graduates significantly higher than those university graduates, preventability fathers or high (p < 0.05). injured three more times once twice last month not all had nuclear family type an extended 0.05).
 Conclusion: It determined children's high. Children’s associated with level parents’ education, type, frequency injuries. Parents management should be better informed by nurses prevent children.
